There are files in the registry keeping you from reinstalling. Go to Google
and search for completly removing Norton Antivirus instructions.  I had the
same problem and removed the remaining files in the registry, and could then
reload.  Another option is to switch to McAfee.

After my computer got a virus and I had it repaired my Norton Antivirus
won`t load from the disc and after numerous calls with no help from Symantec
tech support not only am I out the cost of the disc that won`t download but
