ZIP files are compressed files and must be uncompressed before
you can install software.

What operating system you use? IF it is XP then something is wrong
because XP has build in Zip decompress/compression. Whatever
I recommend ZipGenius http://www.zipgenius.it/eng/index.php
freeware compression program what supports number of compression
formats.
