Hi All

Can anyone suggest why NIS should occasionally fail to load at bootup which results in the OS freezing. Ctrl Alt Del has no effect on the situation and power off is the only avenue open to me. I hate having to do this and don't really want to see scandisk so much......

Win ME  500MHZ P3 256MB RAM 10 G HDD with 7G free.
