A customer complained of Word 2000 no longer working on her ME rig.

I checked for bugs but it was clean.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Word, but if anything it was worse - when I
clicked on the Word shortcut it effectively crashed the machine.

So I uninstalled it again and this time cleaned out the registry of any
reference to 'winword' etc etc.

Reinstalled it - still crashing.

A colleague suggested that perhaps I should be searching for and deleting
the 'normal.doc' template, which I'll try tomorrow.

Anyone have other ideas?
