I don't know if rpcss.exe is a file that can just be replaced, but if so...
You'll find rpcss.exe in a CAB file in \Windows\Options\Cabs. If you have deleted them, you can find the same
CAB files on your 98SE CD. They seem to go in alphabetical order, so "RPCSS" will usually be found in or near
WIN_17.CAB. Be careful to extract only rpcss.exe - I know Winzip will allow you to extract a single file from
within a CAB file, which is all you want to do. When you find it, extract it to the folder from which you
deleted it.
