Hello everyone,

I don't know what's happened but my machine (eMachine 400 Mhz, 8.2 H.D., 64 meg
RAM) says "Please wait while Windows shuts down" (or words pretty close to that)
but it never shuts down.  Then of course, when I turn the machine on again, it
goes automatically to scan disk because it says the machine was'nt shut down
properly.  Any suggestions on how to correct this?
