I have a P-200 with 2 Hard Drives and CD Rom and a Iomega Zip Drive, and
4 days after doing a complete reinstall/Windows 95 B Fat 32, Secondary
Hard Drive Fat 16, the Icon for the Zip Drive "H Drive" the Icon is
changing through out the day, today twice it changed. I learned from the
list a few days ago about rebooting with the CD left in the drive would
change the Icon for the Cd Rom, a bug in W's 95. I was having other
problems with the PC, Fatal Error's with Office 97, playing games on the
Internet and crashing and other problems. I did receive advise on the
problem with the Icon for the CD ROM as I stated, I did not have any
response on the other problems on my last message"not being sarcastic" I
decided to format and reinstall, and with this last message, the Icon
for the Zip Drive was changing 3-6 times a day, prior to reinstalling,
and now four days later it is has started doing it over again, anyone
have any advise?.
