Arthur,

this has happened to me several times before, too.  i can't remember what i
did to get this resolved, but i remember a few times restarting the computer
and that fixed it.  so you might try it... do the good ol' restart (i guess
to make it faster, hit Shift down as you click on Yes from the shut down
menu).  i'm sure there's a logical explanation, i just can't remember it...
