I'm having problems with my DVD playback. I'm running a ATI Radeon 9700 and the monitor is a Sampsung Syncmaster 172W with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 1280X768. The DVD software is Cyberlink Power DVD 4.0.

This is the problem. Movies will only display in letterbox. I've trying every option under Configuration - Screen, but with no success. Contacting Cyberlink about the probelm has proven fruitless. When I bought the monitor I was told that it would display at full screen 16:9.

Anybody got any ideas?
