Have you installed/uninstalled/reinstalled any other programs lately?
It may also be that you have a virus or trojan horse resident on your
system. I would run an adware remover and sbybot tracer first, and see
if anything is on your system.....then I would do a free online virus
scan (if you can't get Norton working) at either McAfee
(http://us.mcafee.com/) or TrendMicro
(http://www.trendmicro.com/en/home/us/enterprise.htm).
