Hello Al,
Here is a couple of good links that will tell you what each listing in

http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm
In the Run box type: msconfig and it will open up the system configuration
utility, click on the Startup tab and it will show everything that starts
up. It would be impossible for me to know what all is in there, as it is
different, depending on software and hardware that you have installed on
your machine. Just uncheck the ones that you find that you don't need.
Click Apply/Ok and it will ask for a restart. Hope that helps.
