Bill,
Unless I missed something in your reply, that gave me a shortcut to the Favorites folder, which is
not what I was looking for. ( I already had one.) I wanted the Favorites to 'expand' when selected,
like 'Programs, Settings, and Search' do.
However, when I selected the 'Advanced' tab again, I noticed the setting (Display Favorites) right
at the top of the 'Start menu and Taskbar' selection box (doh!). That is the setting I was looking
for, but I missed it because I was looking for 'Expand Favorites'. Checking it placed a shortcut to
Favorites that expands the list just like I wanted. So you did point me in the right direction -
thanks.
