If you allow Microsoft unsupervised access to "update" your PC whenever and however they want, you need to be prepared for things suddenly being disabled or changed with no notice or explanation.  Good luck,  AnnaSummers

I installed a Bridge scoring program which was written in clipper and which
has a file called scorer.exe
I used this with great success several months ago.
I don't know what I have done to my machine but this programme doesn't work
any more.
I get an error message that reads C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32|AUTOEXEC>NT. The
system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
applications.
The other change I have notices is that I used to access the C prompt via
RUN and Command. Now the COMMAND doesn't work and CMD is the command.
Any ideas would be appreciated - I am not an expert user.
I have downloaded service pack 2 and get regular updates from Microsoft.
