Myra,
At the point where you want the signature:
1. Create a 2 row, 1 column table.
2. Select the entire TABLE and remove all the borders.
3. Click in the first ROW and add a bottom border.
4. Grab the left side of the TABLE and drag it to the right until it is the
length that you want.
5. You can now type the name in the second row.
or
1. On the Format menu, click Tabs.
2. In Tab Stop Position, type, for example, 3; under Alignment click Left;
under Leader click 1 None, click Set. 3. In Tab Stop Position, type, for
example, 6; under Alignment click Right; under Leader click 4 ___, click
Set.
4. Click OK.
5. Press the Tab key twice and a line will start at 3" and end at 6".
6. Press Enter to create a new paragraph and press Tab once and type the
name.
I personally think trying to use drawn lines is hard to control if the
length of the document changes.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Question RE: MSWord
How does one make a signature line to be printed on a legal document, say a
will to be signed later. The line should allow the person's name to be typed
underneath the line. Thank you. Myra Drew
