Interesting. Have you tried copying from notepad into Word? You never know . . .

I tried Word and discovered that it avoids the double-spacing that Notepad prints but doesn't show onscreen.

I downloaded Pure Text, and it not only avoids Notepad's hidden double-spacing, but avoids the routine of having to open Notepad or Word/paste/copy, to try to clear formatting.
