Hello, everyone.

I recently re-installed win98se. Now any web page that I view is too large for the window. I have to use the horizontal scroll bar to see the entire page.
There are some other small differences between my original pre-loaded win98 and the new windows.

I've gone into display properties/settings to change the size but the slider for screen size is locked on the minimum setting of 640 X 480. My setting before the re-install was 800 X 600. (The color selection menu next to the slider offers only 16 or 2 colors.) Tried updating the drivers and also using safe mode to try to make the change.

The monitor is a very old 13" Magnavox (enhanced VGA). The web pages were displayed normally before the re-install and I was able to switch the resolution with the slider on this same monitor.

   Any su
ggestions to unlocking the slider will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Norman U.
