I am a computer novice. In the past, I would load photos from my digital camera into my computer by just plugging into it. I would then get a menu type option from MS Scanner and Camera Wizard. I would choose what I wanted to do -- copy to a folder, and that was it. It did the job that I wanted.

A few days ago, someone used my computer to try and retrieve photos and now when I plug my camera in, I hear a beep which is normal, but nothing shows on the computer screen. I have no idea how to fix this. The person using the computer said that they didn't do any changes or so they say.

I do have a program that came with the camera but I do not like using it, it seems to take longer. I prefer the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard. Can anyone help me? This new Grandmom would really appreciate it.

We have our first grandchild, almost six months old and it is just way too easy to take many pictures with a digital camera -- always saying I'm going to delete the extras but can't seem to do it. We love that the pics can be viewed on the computer or our DVD player and also put on a CD. Digital cameras are the best for Grandmoms and Grandpops -- we just have to learn how to use them. Thank you for any advice that you offer, we really appreciate it.
