When you connect to another machine using TCP (which underlies, for
instance, the HTTP protocol used on the web), the connection is
bidirectional. You are able to see responses back ONLY because your initial
connection request told the other machine what IP address to send them to.
So if you connect to ANY web site, they have your address. Looking up a few
ISP details that go with that address is trivial.

The biggest market for tools like this is people who know that the sites
they've been visiting violate the policy of the folks who own the machine
they've been using. So my usual recommendation is: If you want to go
there, use a machine that you own and control.

If you're looking to sanitize a machine for resale, a format and fresh OS
install is probably sufficient.
