Hi..

This is my first post.  I am running Windows 98SE and IE6.0.2800.1106  SP1

I haven't been able to open Media Player (don't know version) from a site or Start>Netshow.  I get an error box "an internal application error has occured."

I downloaded Media Player 9 update, hoping to solve it, but the same error occurs when I try to open it from Start>MediaPlayer.

I would be grateful for any help.  I am a true newbie at tech issues, so I need detailed guidance.
