I was all ready to provide a small Basica program when I discovered there's
no Basica in W95! Sheesh, guess I've not been paying attention!! (or using
VB for far too long!)
Anyway, if you don't want to 'muddy the waters' with getting a programming
tool to do this, you may consider creating a batch file using your
"output.txt"
file and a word processor macro (you *do* have a word processor, don't
cha?).
Even the old Word Perfect 4.2 had a suitable macro-creation facility to do
just
what you want to do (i.e., create a deletion batch file using your
"output.txt"
as the 'base' of the batch file).
