Get a copy of Process Viewer. This is a freeware program that is much
better than task manager, and it shows what program each process uses
(includes the path to the program so you can identify it).

Hi Listers: When it comes to the task of closing running applications
and, I use the ctrl-alt-del and then, the end task command to close each
of them, I have always wondered what some of the apps that are running
really are. For instance---ccd,tgcmd,loadqm,ipmon32,cfd,stimon. When
loading some software, they require that you close all of these
applications before loading and, they instruct me NOT to use the "end
task" command to do it but, rather to use "shift-Alt" instead to close
them which I might add does not close them. Also, every time I go to
close these various apps, when I close "cfd", I get the BSOD for some
reason hence the reason I'm asking what all these mysterious things
represent. Can anyone out there describe in detail what they mean?
Thanks in advance. Ed Bogert
