I started having (more) crashes with IE5.5 using Win98se.
Dumped IE5.5 and went back to IE5.0 which seemed to eliminate that problem.

I agree with Tom 100%. I had way too many problems with IE5.5, (using Win95b). But after reverting
back to IE5.01, I'm pretty much trouble free.
