I downloaded a free copy of Recuva but it does not seem to work well. When I search for deleted files it finds ALL files on my HD. I discovered that images like "Shopping Basket" and "Click here for...." get saved from online shopping web sites. Deleting or overwriting files can only be done one at a time and some can be deleted or overwritten.

Questions: How can I search just for files I want to recover? How can I delete or overwrite a group of files? Why can some files not be overwritten? Is there a commercial program that works better than this free version of Recuva?
