Winzip is not free -- it's shareware. That means that you get to try the
program before you pay for it. If you find the program useful, you are
expected to pay for it; however, if it doesn't meet your needs, you are
expected to remove it from your system. IIRC, there are truly free
decompression programs available. Check to download page at the FreePCTech
site.
