I have not encountered the same problems as John did, but I too installed
Outlook 98 over Outlook '97 and encountered a different problem, namely -

I have Word '97 SR-1 updated, and my system crashes when I try to import
addresses from the (now updated) Outlook into Word.  Actually, Word simply
freezes.

Has anyone else encountered this or John's problem?
