It may be that you have a directory corruption that causes the failure when
a particular file is being accessed. Try doing a copy from your C drive to
one of the other drives. Do this folder by folder till a failure occurs.
That is, there will be a failure if my theory is correct. However, you can't
copy certain system files. Might try doing a backup procedure on the files.
Incidentally, do you do regular backups? If so, is there any problem
reported. If not, perhaps you should :)
