My wife and I just made the move to iPhones and am trying to get our
contacts from Windows 7 to iCloud for syncing purposes. I know I can
connect my phone and sync the contacts from within iTunes and did so to get
them onto my iPhone thinking this would send them to the cloud and then to
her phone. Didn't happen.

I saw that Apple has an iCloud control panel for Windows but it reads like
you need to have the contacts within Outlook, which I don't have. My
contacts are stored in C:\Users\Jerry\Contacts.

Syncing apps using iCloud works fine so I know the basic setup is right.

Any ideas?
