This is the third time....

I do not know how to open E-mails with 'text or  'txt' .

They do not have viruses and they are from known persons.

Do I need a  program or software ?

Win:98
Ram: 192
IE: 5
Outlook Express: 6
HP Pavilion 4550Z
Dial up modem.
I need some help !
