I keep getting this message when trying to send/receive in Outlook XP SP-2:


Task 'AccessUS - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0D) :
'Unable to find the e-mail server.  Please verify the server information in
your account properties.'

I have to disconnect and connect again to fix the error.

I also get disconnected frequently.  I have my modem set to never
disconnect.

I sent an e-mail to my ISP and their response was that there were no
problems on their end and that it sounds like I may need to remove and
reinstall my email account. They said that often outlook will have errors
that are sporadic and a remove and reinstall of the mail account will
resolve these issues.  I have no idea how to do this and hope someone can
tell me what I can do to avoid having to reinstall my email account.

I find answers to a lot of questions here but couldn't find anything on
this.  Thanks in advance for any help.
