Hello!

Yes you can dual boot. I put Win2k on my 2 year old laptop in a new
directory (I did NOT upgrade my Win98 installation) and it works fine. The
boot menu shows up as with NT 4 so you can choose between Win 98 and Win2k.

Enjoy! It is a lot of fun to play with.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Can you dual boot Windows 2000?

Like many people, I am toying with the idea of
using Windows 2000, just to become acquainted
with it. Perhaps to use it as the platform for
programming or web access. However, since
I retired, I use my pc 90% of the time for
playing games (eat your heart out :) :) :).

With Windows NT, you could indicate at
start-up whether you wanted to go into NT
or 95. After 30 seconds it would go to the
default os.

Does 2000 have this property? (Sorry if
I missed this in an earlier posting.)

Does 2000 have IE5 on the disk?

TIA
