BC, since you are MCSE, I will save time to not explain some basic stuff.
As far as my experience tell, I will never ever ever install intel ATA
driver. The reason is simple, controller works fine without it, ATA5 can be
enabled anyway, as long as you have installed intel chipset driver. There's
no useful feature make me MUST install it. Also, ATA storage driver cause a
lot of problems, especially CD writer problem, many cases that CD writers
won't function (won't write) unless ATA storage driver is removed.
