The problem has been fixed as far as my experience tells. The latest version
of ZA should be fine to run Norton. I am doing it without incident, but had
the same issues you refer to with an earlier version.

I recall reading on this list NOT to update Zone Alarm Pro to the next
version as it was causing email scanning problems with Norton. Does anyone
know if this has been resolved? I await your input before updating.
