My appoligies to Tannis Zamora. We WERE talking
about the same thing, and it wasn't even her question,
(or mine.)
Tannis said what she did and she fulfilled the requirements
of the license. I got some MBs and hard drives and OEM
CDs from a distributor, and with one or two exceptions
am "stuck there".

Robert, If you fulfilled the requirements of the license, get
the cheaper one. I do not have or use WINDOWS 2000 x,
and never even saw it. I do not know what the license says.

I "did" hear of people on E-Bay selling COAs a year or two
back for something, but MS rushed in and closed down all those
auctions as being illegal. Look into that fiasco (somehow) and
you might get the answer to you question.

I do not think anyone can or will answer this question. (Sorry I tried.)
