Subject: Active desktop

Subject: Active Desktop
I really like two features of windows9x but am not sure if they are part of
the IE install or the active desktop install. I first used them in Win95
anfter installing IE 4.0 and then active desktop. The features I refer to
are (1) the launch bar and (2) single clicking to execute a program. I now
have Win98 and IE 5.0. My question is this: I know that active desktop had
to be installed under IE4.o before one installed IE5.0. If I order the new
"Second Edition" which is Win98 and IE 5.0 will that have active desktop and
the two features that I like or will I then (on a clean install of Second
Edition) have to unistall IE 5 install IE4 and active desktop and then IE5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, William
