Not sure if this still holds true but at one time, there was a limit on the
number of files a floppy could hold. I think it was 64 or 128 files.
So even if all the file were only 512bytes each you'd only be able to store
the 64 or 128 limit.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Floppy disk

> Ok, while sending small files to a 3.5 floppy disk, all of the sudden it's
telling me that cannot copy: the directory or file cannot be created. The
floppy is only half used up and the files can surely fit. So does anyone
know exactly what this means and how to fix the problem? Thanks so much in
advance! Joseph Rydzy
