My Win7 x64 install works much better with Chrome and Firefox 3.6.1 than
IE.
I'd look elsewhere for the cause, but nothing comes to mind immediately.

Since switching to Windows 7 (64 bit) I seem to have problems connecting
to
websites when using Minefield (Firefox beta), or other browsers.
Internet
Explorer does not seem to have these issues. The problem is not total -
that
is, I CAN connect using the other browsers, but they seem to have
difficulty
doing so and take longer to connect. Sometimes they don't connect for a
while.
My question to the list is: have others experienced the same problem? I
am
trying to figure out if there is something in my particular setup, or
did
Microsoft put something into Windows 7 to make life harder for other
browsers. My ISP is Charter cable - it is also possible, but not
probable
that something with Charter is causing such issues.
Thank you.
