I am not entirely sure what your question is and I have no solution for your loss of IE (although I suspect that FF might have set itself as the default browser) but if you want to find FF downloads, check out Tools/Downloads. If you are looking on your computer for where they go, search your computer for "downloads" and find one within a FF folder. There is a default download location but because I frequently change things up on my computer I am not sure where the default location is.

With FF, on some downloads I am allowed to choose where I want the file to be on my computer. On others, it seems, that option is not available. But there should be a downloads folder on your computer for Firefox.

I'm running XPpro sp3 & Internet explorer as a browser. I installed Firefox & it took out IE !!
I want to use something  other than Firefox for downloads. I can't find their downloads, so I used to use IE until they took over. Is there any other dependable browser available that will let me have options??
