Hi Linda.. I am so glad to hear that you were able to use the registry
'save'.. I have had that very same thing happen to me, not being able to
 un-do some sort of change I may have made on my system. The registry
back up has saved me--the only times that I can think of that it would
be a problem is if you are doing many changes through out each and every
 day to your system.  As that is not my usual circumstance, it was not a
 problem for me..Even if it had been, it seemed better than having to go
 through the time and trouble of reformatting! (which was my plan B!)
