We have a Gateway G 6-300 computer, with I E. 6.0.2600 version, Win. 98, 4.10.
and Netscape 4.79. 2
Each time I try to repair I E , going to Add/Remove, and click on IE repair,
it goes thru the process, shuts down, restarts, and comes back to the desktop
background, without any icons, task bar or anything, with no way to do anything.
Cannot get to Start.
I have to shutdown, restart, press F8, go to Command Prompt, and go back to
yesterday, to get the desktop back.
 With all here on this site that have the answers, what could be wrong, causing this???
