Subject: Windows XP Pro

I've used this since it came out and thought I knew what I was doing,
not. Over the week-end my little dog on the search portion of the
program is gone. It is there if you use the search under files and
folders, etc.,. but not using the internet. I try to customize this
thing to get it back and cannot do it. Can anyone help me?

Ray Whitmoyer - The Repair Center<<

Hi Ray,

To be sure I understand this - you actually WANT the dog?

I assume you are using the 'Search' command from the upper tool bar. There is no dog with the 'Find' command. You should be able to activate the dog by clicking 'Change Preferences' in the Search Companion box (at the bottom, you may have to scroll down to see it). A window should open giving you the choice of 'with an animated screen character'.

Good Luck,
Gail Titus
