I have a new Toshiba Laptop running XP2000 Home with Spy Sweeper and Norton AV.
Today I received a Norton Anti-virus Error message that read: "Norton AV has encountered an internal program error. Uninstall and re-install Norton AV." Then a box came up that read: "Urgent Attention. There is a problem with your license for this product."
I uninstalled and reinstalled Norton; things ran fine for a few hours, but now I have the same messages with the Norton icon in the bottom tray red-X'd out.
Could the problem be that Norton does not like Spy Sweeper? Should I uninstall both Spy Sweeper and Norton and use a different AV?
I would appreciate any advice on resolving this.
