Hi Gerry,
What Microsoft Office programs do you have installed, if any? What do you
use for e-mail?
It's just a possibility, but I had a similar situation one time when there
was a conflict with a version of Roxio I had installed. I don't recall the
details but I think the problem was solved by either updating or installing
a later version of Roxio. You didn't mention your operating system but Roxio
Easy CD Creator 5, for example, is not compatible with Windows XP without an
update.
If you use any of the Microsoft Office "viewers", insure you have the latest
version. If Roxio doesn't apply in your situation, you may want to check
your other programs and drivers for updates. Sometimes, reinstalling a
suspect program will solve problems. Good luck.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Microsoft Office Professional and email
Recently on certain emails that I get, when I go to open them, Microsoft
Office 2000 Professional tries to install. It tells me to put in the the
CD to install it. I don't have that program. I hit cancel and then it o
pens the email. I just don't know why all of a sudden that has started t
o happen. Does anyone have an answer? Thank you in advance.
