Subject: animated gif

After all my years of experience with computers, I did not realize till now
that I don't have a program to even resize an animated GIF file. I have
Photoshop but it does not handle GIF. Any recommendations - freeware
preferred?

Thank you.

IrfanView has a Batch conversion tool that works very well. It will resize
and convert from/to almost any format. Be sure to d/l the plug-ins file as
well as the basic viewer. I use it to resize .jpg files to a manageable size
for easier e-mailing. You can resize to inches or pixels. It will handle
almost any graphic file format.
