I must confess that I didn't hack my registry, but Ron Petrusha's
"Inside the Windows 95 Registry", published by O'Reilly & Associates,
Inc. explains how MRULists work.

Each entry in
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Re
centDocs] is associated with a file and as someone said can be seen in
the Registry Editor if you select Edit/Modify.

So a-o should match up to the 15 files in your Recent Documents list.

To actually keep a document from showing up on the list, you need to
remove both the letter that is representing the document and the letter
in the MRUList.

My hope is that this folder was deleted, but is getting listed through
the MRUList.
Then you would only have to remove the letter from the MRUList.

I would give up if I had 16 entries on my Recent Documents List.

Good Luck

I have entries for A through M, then an MRU File entry and finally
N and O entries. All the data is in Hex so I'm lost...
