You must have OE set to "Send and receive at startup", so this is a is a
bit more difficult, as I can't think of a way to change that setting
without opening OE.
So:in Control Panel/Add Remove Windows Components, uninstall OE, then
reinstall it.
Be sure to save your address book and any emails you need first.
Someone else may have a better idea.
This would actually be a good time to switch to Thunderbird, as OE isn't
supported in future versions of Windows.
That would solve the problem also, as TB imports all your settings from
OE.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Non responding Outlook Express
From: laurence de richemont <[log in to unmask]>

I am running Outlook Express 6 and Windows XP.
I created an email and attached too many photos so every time I open OE
it
become non-responsive.
I tried disconnecting from the internet connexion to see whether by not
being online when booting up OE would not try to send the offending
email,
but it froze again and I am currently unable to use the app.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks in advance,
Laurence
ps: it is a while I haven't received your newsletter, perhaps it is
being
stopped as spam, could any responders please include my address above?
thank
you
