My CD burner was put in by Compaq about 2 years ago. I had a Microsoft
technician spend about an hour trying to install it using their remote
assistant. I have tried different software and nothing is going to work
because Windows XP doesn't recognize it as a CD burner. I can't seem to
find out from Compaq what CD burner it is either.
It also won't recognize my flatbed scanner. AS6E by Artec.
