Hi Beth,

It seems you've mistaken "Explorer" with "INTERNET Explorer".
The latter CAN be minimized but it's probably not the only one
that can make your system crash.  The first one, "Explorer", is
in fact the name Windows refers to, to talk about your Desktop.
So it may be almost ANY software that causes this BSOD to happen,
not Internet Explorer alone.

It may be a good thinkg to look for that VXD file Bob Wright told
you about in his reply.
