Doyle and Jagpyle:

I have just recently switched back to Eudora after using Outlook 2000 for a
couple of years and I am delighted. I had used the paid versions of Eudora
previously but this time I'm using the sponsored version of 5.1. I "suffer"
one two inch square block of advertising on the screen and can easily move
it out of the way. Initially the ad block occupied about one third of the
screen but it can be docked to the minimal size. The only disadvantage as
compared to Outlook is that the Spell Checker does not have an auto correct
feature like the one Outlook uses from Word. On the other hand it downloads
and sends mail much more quickly than Outlook, runs trouble free and has
all the features that I normally need. You can import your mail, mailboxes
and addresses from Outlook or Outlook Express and make Eudora your default
program, leaving any previous mail program on your hard drive in case you
want to switch back.
