I have a problem using a calling card with my Pratical Peripherals PROCLASS
288 modem. With my calling card I dial a 1-800-999-9999 number, put in my
number I'm dialing which is 999-999-9999 and then my calling card number
which is 99999999999999. The total string of number is 35 characters plus
10 commas. The dial-up string looks something like this
18009999999,,,,,TFG,,,,H. The problem is that the dialup adapter only does
the first four numbers of the calling card. Another words, it dials the 800
number, waits 10 seconds, dials the local number, waits 8 seconds and then
dials the first four numbers of the calling card and dies. The modem is in
standard factory defaults. The dial-up adapter timesout with a no dial
tone message. Does anyone have a suggestion. Please mail responses to me.
TIA
