Hi Lorraine,

If you're sure you don't need or want Netscape, then you can do
this, without reinstalling Windows:
Go to Start, Run, Type in Sysedit. You'll get a lot of boxes, but the
two you're interested in is sys.ini and perhaps win.ini.
You can close the others.
In sys.ini, go to search, find, and type in the text box:
"netscape" then hit next (make sure the box for case sensitivity is
off).
Once you've located the lines pertaining to netscape (it should have
"device=" in the front, place a semicolon before them. (;)
It should look something like this when you're done:
;device=C:\WINDOWS\NETSCAPE\VTCPRAC.386
;device=C:\WINDOWS\NETSCAPE\VNTSTIMD.EXE

This will get rid of the annoying message when you boot up. :-)
